On the 6th & 7th May 2023, the College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, held the “Technology in Healthcare” conference, in cooperation with King Abdullah University Hospital at Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University. The conference targeted health practitioners and specialists in the fields of computer science and technology, with the participation of 20 distinguished speakers in the field.
The conference aimed to shed light on the use of technology in healthcare, review developments in the field of technology related to healthcare, urge health practitioners to employ technology in their health practices, and encourage technology professionals to cooperate with their counterparts in the health field to develop programs and technologies that facilitate healthcare services.
Holding such a conference allign with the goals of the College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences to develop qualified cadres, promote continuous learning and innovation according to modern technology, achieve cooperation and joint work between the relevant authorities, build bridges of communication, and create an interactive scientific environment. This in its turn works toward achieving the strategic goals of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
