The Data Management Office was established pursuant to Royal Order No. (59766), which mandated the establishment of data management offices across all government entities, as well as pursuant to the decision of the University President No. (25402). The Office serves as the entity responsible for governing and organizing the University’s data management. The Office operates in accordance with the regulatory frameworks and national standards issued by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and the National Data Management Office (NDMO), ensuring data quality, compliance with relevant regulations, enabling data-driven decision-making, and maximizing the value of data as a national strategic asset.

Today, data represents a fundamental pillar in the University’s journey toward excellence and sustainability. Based on our belief that data is a national strategic asset, the Data Management Office aspires to establish an integrated framework for data management and governance in compliance with national standards, thereby enhancing transparency, improving data quality, and supporting data-driven decision-making. Through adopting national and international best practices and adhering to regulations governing data management and protection, the Office seeks to empower all University entities to maximize the utilization of data and transform it into added value that supports education, research, and innovation. Through cooperation and integration with data-owning entities and units, the Office contributes to achieving the University’s strategic goals and supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
