The Innovation Center at the College of Computer and Information Sciences, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, has launched the “Game Development Using Unity” bootcamp, with the participation of 30 students.
The program is being held on campus and will run until September 18, 2025, the bootcamp aims to enhance students’ skills in game development and virtual reality (VR) design, while also introducing them to emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT).
It provides an interactive environment for students to gain knowledge, exchange ideas, and build professional projects, thereby equipping them with competencies that strengthen their competitiveness in the technology job market. Dr. Manal Al-Ohali, Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences, emphasized that the bootcamp offers an outstanding educational experience that fosters creativity among students and reflects the college’s vision of empowering them with future-ready skills.
Furthermore, Ms. Wafa Al-Zahrani, Director of the Innovation Center at the College of Computer and Information Sciences, highlighted that this bootcamp is part of an annual series of programs organized by the Innovation Center in response to the growing interest from students. She noted that it reflects the college’s commitment to providing a stimulating environment that enriches students’ experiences, nurtures their ambitions, and enhances their readiness for the labor market.
