The Psychological and Social Counseling Unit provides psychological and social support services to students, aiming to enhance their mental well-being and ensure their academic and social stability through the following tasks:
Providing individual counseling and guidance services to students.
Studying the cases of students applying for financial aid and university housing.
Contributing to the observation and monitoring of students' academic and social problems within the college.
Referring students to the “Malath" Office when psychological support services are needed.
Collaborating with the psychologist in implementing therapeutic and rehabilitation plans.
Following up on all students registered in the Banner system to ensure the stability of their academic status.
Coordinating with the Student Support Unit for Students with Disabilities to provide the necessary support.
Preparing semester-based reports on the cases received by the unit.
Planning preventive and therapeutic activities according to students' needs.
Providing orientation programs for new students to introduce them to the unit's services and how to benefit from them.
