The College of Computer and Information Sciences Organizes an Orientation Meeting for Its New Female Students

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized an orientation meeting for its new female students for the academic year 1447 AH. The event, attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Manal Al-Ouhaili, was held in the college auditorium and welcomed a total of 629 students.
The meeting aimed to introduce the students to the college, its departments, the services it offers, the academic plans for each department, key communication channels, and academic advising, which provides general guidance for students.
The event included interactive booths showcasing the college’s most prominent services, such as: The Support and Assistance booth, the Social Workers’ Office booth, the Library booth, the Computer Club booth, and the Student Activities Office booth.
In her welcoming speech, Dr. Manal Al-Ohaili, Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences, emphasized the college’s commitment to creating an interactive and stimulating educational environment that enhances students’ skills and capabilities in the field of technology, making their learning experience exceptional. She stressed the importance of diligence, perseverance, continuous pursuit of knowledge, and acquiring technical skills. She encouraged students to take advantage of the technical workshops and bootcamps provided by the college through its local and international partnerships in the field of technology.
