The College of Computer and Information Sciences holds the “Journey of Glory” event

The Innovation Center at the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University held an event titled 'Journey of Glory' on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the college auditorium.
The event, organized by the Competitions Unit, involved solving a series of puzzles in an engaging and interactive way, combining knowledge, challenge, and participation. It aimed to strengthen the spirit of involvement, belonging, and loyalty to the nation by introducing participants to the regions of the Kingdom throughout the different stages of the event.
The event included three categories: the 'Code Category' for those passionate about programming, code analysis, and inference; the 'Puzzle Category' for enthusiasts of mental challenges, featuring a variety of puzzles that test intelligence and quick thinking; and the 'Cipher Category,' which involved deciphering secret codes into understandable texts through a blend of intuition and logic.
The Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Nourah University, Dr. Manal Al-Ohali, emphasized “the importance of fostering an interactive learning environment focused on creativity and innovative analysis, in order to build a generation capable of keeping pace with advancements in technology. This contributes to achieving the college’s goals of developing future skills and enhancing competitiveness”.
This comes as part of contributing to the achievement of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 Strategic Plan, which aims to provide a university environment that enhances students’ skills in innovation and creativity through extracurricular activities. It also reflects the university’s commitment to investing in the energy and potential of its students through extracurricular programs that play a vital role in building both educational and life experiences.
