With the Presentation of 137 Graduation Projects… College of Computer and Information Sciences Concludes “SHE INNOVATES” Competition The College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University concluded the “SHE INNOVATES” competition yesterday, Tuesday, May 19, 2026, with five winning projects selected from 137 graduation projects presented by the college’s students. The event was held at the college’s premises. The project “Qirnas” won first place, while “Waddah” secured second place, and “Mathlooth” took third. The “PNUH” project achieved fourth place, and “HIRZ” ranked fifth. The competition served as a scientific and professional platform to showcase the students’ outstanding projects, support innovation and research, and discover talent in the digital field. It also provided an opportunity to connect educational outcomes with labor market requirements and enhance students’ professional and training opportunities. The graduation projects covered topics such as artificial intelligence, modern technologies, technical innovation, community-oriented technical solutions, and technology applications supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The event was accompanied by a “Career forum” exhibition, featuring participation from various professional and technical organizations. This enabled students to engage with participating entities and learn about labor market requirements and emerging trends in the digital field. Dr. Manal Al-Ohali, Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences, stated that “organizing this competition aims to foster the spirit of innovation and creativity among students in the digital field, and to refine their skills in line with the evolving labor market requirements.” She added that “the competition contributes to raising national competencies and empowers students to actively participate in serving the community.” It is noteworthy that the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University supports the achievement of the university’s strategic plan objectives by preparing competitive competencies, developing students’ skills and knowledge, and providing a learning environment that encourages creativity and innovation, in line with digital transformation and future requirements.
