Training Course in Workforce Planning and Development

The Development and Training Unit at the Human Resources General Directorate of Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University organized a two-day training program entitled "Workforce Planning and Development Program" on 16-17/4/1445 H. The program was delivered by Dr. Nouf Al-Amaj Al-Qahtani, a certified trainer from the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training. The course targeted employees in the HR department, and approximately 20 trainees participated. The program aims to equip participants with the necessary competencies and skills required for "Strategic Workforce Planning and Human Resources Metrics and Analytics" to enable them to perform their duties with excellence, efficiency, and effectiveness within the department, thereby achieving the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to identify and determine the organization's human resource needs, develop a clear strategy to meet these needs, planning for the workforce both internally and externally in line with the organization's evolving and changing future, identify the strengths and weaknesses points of the human workforce, enhance strengths and address weaknesses points, protect the organization from any sudden changes in the human workforce, and develop effective ways to address them. The program will also cover providing the appropriate and qualified human resources with contemporary scientific and technical qualifications, the strategic success of any manager, job analysis and strategic analysis, their importance, approaches, and benefits, technological, cultural, social, and economic challenges, future outlook in the face of globalization challenges, and the goals, tasks, and role of human resources management.
