​​​Mission:

The qualification of competitive clinical nutrition cadres to provide therapeutic nutritional services and research that contribute to raising the quality of health care for patients and society


Goals :

1.Equip students with high-quality education and training to succeed in dietetic practice.  
2.Enhance students’ interpersonal skills to ensure highly professional practice in the field of dietetics. 
3.Contribute to conducting and disseminating research in clinical nutrition specialties.
4.Provide proficient nutritional education and community services for the individuals and the community.

  • 1-Information gathering: Students should be able to participate in educational situations that require skill in gathering 
  • and remembering information about a patient, client, group, organization, community, to provide diagnosis, intervention, nutrition, and health care

  • 2-Leadership Traits: Students must consistently demonstrate required leadership to make full use of their intellectual abilities. 
  • Students must demonstrate the ability to work and respond effectively in situations of high tension and potential conflict. 

  • 3-Critical Thinking and Cognitive Skills: Students must demonstrate the cognitive and memory skills necessary for measurement, arithmetic,
  • and reasoning in order to analyze, integrate, and synthesize information

4-Aptitude and attitude: Act in accordance with the standards of professional performance and the code of professional conduct for the profession of nutrition 

  • 5-Psychomotor skills: Students must demonstrate professional clinical skills and knowledge application in clinical settings 
  • (eg, anthropometrics and body composition) 

6-Effective communication skills (verbal, written and non-verbal): Students must be able to monitor clients, staff, and health professionals in order to obtain information effectively and efficiently to provide the best diagnosis, intervention, nutrition and healthcare

  • 7-Ethics for the Profession of Dietetics: Competence and Conduct: Students should have the ability and desire to develop 
  • the high level of professionalism expected in a clinical nutrition program and career in dietetics and clinical nutrition
