The College of Humanities and Social Sciences celebrates the 95th Saudi National Day

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University celebrated the 95th Saudi National Day with a series of national programs and activities, accompanied by an exhibition that reflected the values of loyalty and belonging among the university’s female community. The celebration included a variety of presentations: the Department of Islamic Studies opened the event with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an, while the Literary Talent Care Unit in the Arabic Language Department presented a poetic debate segment. The Department of Libraries and Information shared a video titled “Determination to the Top.” In addition, the Department of History and Archaeology presented the traditional Saudi Ardah dance, and the Department of Geography contributed a segment titled “A Nation’s Journey.” The Student Club also played an active role by organizing competitions, presenting a multilingual piece titled “My Country in the Languages of the World,” and screening a short film entitled “Glories of the Past and Achievements of the Present.” The accompanying exhibition showcased a variety of contributions from the Digital Journalism Department, the Sports Club, and the college library. It also featured a special participation by the Director of Administrative Efficiency, Ms. Maha Al-Takhifi, who held an open art workshop titled “My Happiness is in My Brush."This event reflects the college’s commitment, represented by the Student Services Administration and the Student Club, to promoting national values, strengthening the spirit of belonging and pride in the beloved Kingdom on its 95th National Day, and supporting Princess Nourah University’s 2025 strategic plan aimed at leading knowledge-based and societal impact and empowering women in the journey of national development.
