About the Agency:

The College Agency for Academic Affairs seeks to provide the best academic practices in the college, and to create an enabling educational environment for distinguished education by supervising educational programs, their plans and development, implementing the quality management system for education and learning, achieving the requirements of academic accreditation standards in its programs, supervising the progress of the educational process in all its details, supporting e-learning and coordinating with academic departments - which are the beating heart of the college - in a manner consistent with achieving the college's strategic plan projects and its goals, and in a manner that helps develop existing programs, and propose the creation of new programs that keep pace with the university's aspirations and are compatible with the labor market, contributing to the preparation and graduation of competitive national cadres.

 The Agency's tasks:

1- Supervising academic programs at the college level.

2- Proposing new programs or developing existing programs in coordination with academic departments and following up on their implementation after their approval.

3- Supervising the progress of the academic process in the college and creating an enabling educational environment for distinguished education.

4- Implementing the regulations and rules governing the study and examination regulations for the undergraduate stage and ensuring their implementation by its affiliated units.

5- Supervising the academic status of faculty members and teaching shares.

6- Supervising the follow-up of the implementation of the quality management system and adherence to academic accreditation standards.

 *Affiliated departments and units :

Department of Quality of Education and Learning

Tasks:

1- Contributing to verifying the fulfillment of quality standards in existing and new educational programs.

2- Spreading the culture of quality and academic accreditation and building the capacities of college members by nominating them for internal and external courses in the field of quality of education and learning in coordination with the Deanship of Development and Quality.

3- Verifying the completion of quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements for all college programs and archiving them electronically.

4- Following up on the time plan for advanced academic programs for programmatic accreditation.

5- Activating the recommendations of the Advisory Council in the college.

6- Following up on the activation of questionnaires and analyzing them.

7- Supervising and following up on female students (quality friends) in the college and their role in educating female students and familiarizing them with the nature of study in the college.

8- Following up on the processes of continuous development and improvement of all college programs.

9- Collecting reports and recommendations from the program committees in the college and preparing a comprehensive report at the college level; To be presented to the Academic Programs Quality Committee.

• Any other new tasks in the field of specialization, such as following up on standardized tests and measuring them.

 Educational Affairs Department

Tasks:

1- Follow up on registration and schedules and submit their reports.

2- Follow up on the progress of tests and submit their reports.

3- Follow up on the progress of the educational process and submit its reports.

4- Prepare a plan for academic guidance in cooperation with the educational departments and follow up on its implementation.

5- Supervise the developments program.

6- Activate the work of the educational process committees (stumbling, equations, etc.).

 *Laboratory and Learning Resources Management

Tasks:

1- Supervise the college laboratories and inventory the laboratories and their contents on an ongoing basis, while evaluating the condition of the equipment and providing periodic maintenance (in coordination with the laboratories unit in the university agency for academic affairs)

2- Prepare schedules and organize internal and external reservations for laboratories and devices.

3- Follow up on providing the laboratories' needs for software needed by the educational departments.

4- Provide multiple sources of information related to educational needs.

5- Supervise the college library and coordinate with the central library to provide and update references as needed.

 *E-Learning Unit

 Tasks:

 1- Follow up on the inventory of electronic programs and courses within the college.

 2- Follow up on the activation of courses on the e-learning management system and submit periodic reports.

 3- Support professors and students in the event of technical problems.

 ​4- Spread awareness of e-learning to all college members, faculty members and students.

 5- Address initial inquiries from members and students and direct them to communicate with technical support in the administration through the available channels to solve problems.

 6- Coordinate holding introductory meetings and orientation meetings for college students.

7- Follow up on the latest developments with the e-learning department at the university level, such as activating professional certificates
