The Department of Health Communication Sciences organized the Speech and Swallowing Diseases Program at the College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in cooperation with the Saudi Alzheimer's Disease Association, an awareness event on hidden disabilities entitled (Do not hide them), on Friday, November 1, at Panorama Mall.
The event aims to spread awareness about hidden disabilities and their impact on society. Such as memory and cognitive diseases associated with Alzheimer's disease, other hidden diseases such as epilepsy, hearing impairment and dyslexia
This event comes to achieve the strategic objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University 2025, in fulfilling its societal responsibilities in serving health-related issues, spreading awareness, and holding community partnerships that serve issues related to raising health awareness, which is one of the most important goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
