Nature and Goals of the Program

The program provides students with the theoretical knowledge and clinical experience in the fields of speech, language, and swallowing. The students will learn about the professional values, ethical standards, teamwork, and appropriate social skills in educational, work, and clinical environments. They will also acquire research application skills in the field of communication sciences and swallowing, have a fundamental understanding of using advanced techniques in the field, employ critical thinking, and engage in evidence-based practice. Additionally, they will actively participate in community service related to the field of phoniatrics.
