About the department

The Medical Education Department aims to develop the curricula of the College of Medicine's courses and adopt modern methods of education through the Office of Curriculum Development that is based on learning via problem solving. This is achieved using the latest advancements in medical education. The department also aims to develop the teaching and learning skills and methods through its support to the college's vice deanship of educational affairs in addition to the effective contribution of its members to the Testing Unit, the Learning Techniques Unit, and the Faculty Development Unit.

The Medical Education Department is responsible for three courses:

-       Learning Skills

-       Medical Professionalism

-       Medical informatics
