The concept of academic counseling:
* It is a continuous and regulated process that accompanies the student's progress until graduation and includes psychological, social and behavioral guidance.
* It is based on planning, setting goals, guidance, and communication.
* The academic advisor is one of the faculty members, she is assigned by the Center for Academic Counseling to serve as the academic guide for a group of university students.
* Academic counseling works in coordination and cooperation with the Deanship of Admissions and Registration and Student Affairs.
