The Department operates under the Vice Rectorate for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, managing administrative procedures for scientific events, including obtaining the necessary approvals and coordinating faculty members’ participation in external events. It also contributes to the University’s commitment to research excellence and the development of a knowledge-based economy by fostering strategic partnerships with international and community organizations. Through these efforts, the Department promotes research productivity, facilitates the exchange of knowledge and expertise with leading universities, and supports the University’s pursuit of sustainable global excellence and impactful knowledge sharing.

Main Tasks

  • Updating the Procedures for faculty and staff attendance and participation in Scientific Events​

  • Preparing periodic tables and statistics on events organized by the university.
  • Preparing periodic reports on events held at the university, as well as the department's activities and achievements.
  • Developing a database of faculty and staff attendance and participation in scientific events​

  • Publishing invitations for university faculty and staff to participate in local and international scientific events on the university's website.
  • Receiving and coordinating requests to organize scientific events submitted by various entities across the university​

  • Ensuring compliance with established policies and standards and overseeing their effective implementation.
  • Coordinating the publication and documentation of scientific events with the relevant University entities.
  • Compiling and monitoring the department's statistics.​
