Overview:
This program was launched in 1444 AH in response to the growing demand for the accounting and auditing profession in general, and for accounting and taxation in particular.
This initiative is based on an agreement between the university and the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority. Under this agreement, the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority commits to providing its opinions on the program's plan and supporting the university with technical advice to enhance the program's quality.
Furthermore, the program contributes to meeting the needs of the job market and aligns with the vision and mission of the university and the College of Business Administration.
Program Objectives:
- Empowering graduates to apply specialized and professional knowledge in accounting and tax regulations.
- Enhancing graduates' critical thinking, research, problem-solving, and effective communication skills to provide tax services.
- Fostering leadership, ethical values, and social responsibility among graduates in various accounting and taxation matters.
- Encouraging graduates to obtain professional certifications in accounting and taxation.
- Building sustainable local and global partnerships with specialized entities in the field of accounting and taxation.
Admission Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, with a minimum grade of "Good."
- A bachelor's degree in a field other than Accounting, such as other Administrative Sciences or Law, with a minimum grade of "Good", provided that the candidate completes certain supplementary courses specified by the department.
- A minimum score of 4.5 in the IELTS Academic test or its equivalent from other English language proficiency tests.
- Successful completion of the Postgraduate General Aptitude Test (PGAT).
Study System: The program is offered through a combination of coursework and a thesis.

- Program Cost is calculated based on the minimum standard duration. Any extension beyond this period will incur additional fees for each semester.
- The announced fees do not include Value Added Tax (VAT). A 15% VAT applies to all participants, including Saudi nationals, for all diploma programs.
