Dr. Manal Al-Ohali, Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences at the university, explained that “the initiative is a living example of the importance of cooperation between the educational and private sectors in empowering female students to face the challenges of the digital age.”
It is worth mentioning that the “Absher Twaig” initiative, which ran from November 23 to December 11, 2025, focused on providing training and specialized programs in the fields of digital security and digital identity, and included two main tracks: Digital Identity and Security and Safety, with the aim of raising awareness among female university students about the importance of protecting digital identity and ways to secure personal data on the Internet.
The participation of the College of Computer and Information Sciences reflects its role in contributing to the achievement of the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University's Strategic Plan 2025 by enhancing the digital capabilities, knowledge, and values of female students, preparing competitive competencies, and raising awareness of security.
