About the Research Unit at the Faculty of Languages :

 The Research Unit at the College of Languages (formerly the Research Center) was established based on the decision of the esteemed University Director issued on Monday, 11/4/1438 AH, 9/1/2017. The Unit handles topics related to scientific research, including the annual documentation of the scientific output of the faculty members and monitoring the progress of research projects funded by the Deanship of Scientific Research and supervised by the college members. It is a communication bridge between the college researchers and the relevant university departments. A scientific committee is formed annually to study the research topics proposed within the Unit and submit its recommendations to the concerned departments. The Unit seeks to promote a culture of scientific research and enhance the research skills of the faculty members and students by preparing and implementing an activity plan for each academic year. Additionally, the Unit provides a "citation check" service for the faculty members' research.​

Tasks of the Research Unit at the College of Languages :

1. Preparing and implementing a research activities plan for each academic year.

2. Communicating with the Deanship of Scientific Research regarding requests for research projects funded by

the Deanship of Scientific Research (receiving requests for research projects - extension requests - authorizing a researcher - adding a researcher - ending a research project - research project withdrawal)

 3. Preparing the annual report on the research activities and achievements of the College of Languages.

 4. Providing a citation check service for scientific research for faculty members.

 5. Documenting the scientific output of the faculty members for each academic year.

 6. Following up on research-related requests received by the college from the university departments and taking the necessary actions.​
