Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences, represented by the Noura Cultural Café and in collaboration with the General Commission for Media Regulation, organized a panel discussion titled “The State of the Saudi Media Sector and Investment Opportunities Within It” on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. The event took place at the university’s Medical Simulation and Skills Center with the aim of enhancing the sector’s contribution to the national economy and promoting investment opportunities by supporting talents and professional competencies. The discussion highlighted the growing importance of the media sector as a vital contributor to the Kingdom’s development. It emphasized the need to encourage investment in the field in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build a vibrant society grounded in diversity and sustainable development. The session addressed several key topics related to the current media landscape, including recent trends in regulatory frameworks, challenges facing media industries, and the rapid global technological transformations reshaping the sector.
