About the Department:
The Department of Language Preparation aims to develop students' linguistic abilities for a variety of purposes.
The department offers two academic programs:
- Arabic Language Diploma Program for Non-Native Speakers (Academic Purposes):
This program is designed to teach non-Arabic-speaking students—both internal and external scholarship recipients—the linguistic skills and components necessary to pursue their university studies at Saudi universities.
Recently, a fee-based diploma program was introduced for resident non-Arabic speakers. This is an intensive program aimed at equipping students linguistically to enable them to study at Arab universities. Upon successful completion of the program, the student is awarded a Diploma in Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers.
- Arabic Language Instruction Courses for Various Purposes:
This program aims to enable participants to communicate effectively within the Arab environment in general, and the Saudi context in particular.
It is offered for:
- Official foreign delegations
- Local foreign institutions
- Non-Arabic-speaking residents
The program is offered for a fee.
