Key Achievements of the Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non- Speakers:

 1. Full Programmatic Accreditation of the Diploma Program:

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education and improve academic outcomes, the Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining full programmatic accreditation for its diploma program.

This accomplishment reflects the Institute's commitment to applying comprehensive quality standards and promoting academic excellence, representing an important step in strengthening its position as a leading educational institution.

2. Development of a Comprehensive Arabic Language Learning Native Series:

The Institute has developed a modern, multi-level instructional series designed to teach Arabic to non-native speakers. The series aligns with learners' needs and aspirations and aims to advance the Institute's curriculum at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and expand its global reach.

It comprises six levels based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), focusing on general Arabic communication, with the sixth level dedicated to academic purposes.

3. Establishment of the Virtual Reality Language Laboratory:

Established at the beginning of 1444 AH, the Virtual Reality Language Laboratory at the Institute employs immersive VR technologies to create innovative and interactive opportunities for learning and practicing the Arabic language.

4. Mohammed bin Rashid Award for the Arabic Language:

In a remarkable achievement for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Institute received the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for the Arabic Language under the category “Best Initiative for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers", in recognition of its pioneering use of a virtual language laboratory within the Metaverse environment.

5. Flexible Arabic Language Programs for Non-Native Learners:

The Institute offers flexible and adaptive Arabic language programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of different learner groups, supporting both academic and professional language development.

6. Hosting International Delegations – University of Tokyo Exchange Program:

The Institute hosted a Japanese delegation from the University of Tokyo as part of a short-term, one-week Arabic language program under the university's student exchange initiative.

The program promotes cross-cultural understanding and strengthens cultural dialogue between nations.

7. Faculty Participation in International Training Programs:

Several faculty members participated in international training programs, aimed at exchanging expertise, enhancing the Institute's global visibility, and strengthening cultural and educational relations between countries.

8. International Scholarship Students' Gathering:

The Institute organizes an annual gathering for international scholarship students to celebrate International Students' Day on November 17 each year.

The event includes interactive sessions, discussions, and workshops that promote cultural exchange and a sense of belonging among students.
