Extended Reality Arabic Language lab ( Faseeh):
Faseeh Lab is an educational and research facility established at the beginning of 1444 AH. The lab is founded on the concept of integrating extended reality (XR) technologies—including augmented, virtual, and mixed reality—into the teaching and learning of Arabic as a second language.

The lab consists of several sections, including a collaborative workspace, a training hall, a play zone equipped for VR headsets, and a preparation area. Faseeh Lab seeks to achieve three main objectives:

1.Excellence in Arabic Language Teaching and Learning:
•Provide an engaging and safe educational environment for Arabic language learners.
•Contribute to integrating technology into the institute’s programs, thereby enhancing and diversifying educational materials.
•Design and develop educational content utilizing extended reality technologies.
2.Knowledge Enrichment for Beneficiaries:
•Promote awareness of technology among diverse target groups.
•Transfer knowledge from academic and research papers to the broader community regarding the use of technology in language education.
•Train beneficiaries within and outside the institute on the use and implementation of educational technologies.
3Promoting a Research and Innovation Environment
•Study and evaluate the effectiveness of technology in language acquisition and learning.
•Assess the effectiveness of lab-produced outputs through heuristic evaluation or research-based design principles.
•Foster innovation in teaching Arabic as a second language.
The lab welcomes research collaborations and initiatives that contribute to advancing and developing the field.
