Standing Committee for Scientific Journals and Publishing

Tasks of the Standing Committee for Scientific Journals and Scientific Publishing, emanating from the Scientific Council:

The committee exercises its duties in accordance with the powers, decisions and approved executive rules, and in particular:

· Proposing a scientific publishing policy submitted in the name of the university.

· Refereeing books submitted for inclusion within the minimum scientific production for promotion, publication or translation.

· Recommending the formation of the editorial board of scientific journals and disbursing the editorial board's bonus after reviewing their annual reports.

· Following up and developing scientific journals at the university in accordance with the executive rules for issuing refereed scientific journals at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.

· Recommending the publication of scientific, academic and academic writings, or translations of faculty members at the university whose owners wish to publish them at the university's expense in accordance with the executive rules for publishing at the university.

· Proposing procedures regulating the committee's work and submitting its recommendations to the Scientific Council.
