Professor Dr. Kawthar bint Fouad Abed is considered one of the distinguished scientific competencies in the field of microbiology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She has achieved prestigious scientific and academic accomplishments at both local and international levels, characterized by a prolific scientific output exceeding 46 peer-reviewed scientific papers published in international journals, including 24 papers in Web of Science databases over the past five years, in addition to a distinguished scientific citation index exceeding 780 citations in Google Scholar.
She has contributed to enriching the scientific library by authoring specialized books, most notably "Fundamentals of Microbial Physiology and Metabolism" and "Microbial Physiology". She has led numerous research projects and research groups supported by Princess Nourah University and external entities.

Professor Dr. Laila bint Saleh Al-Bassam is considered one of the prominent scientific figures in the field of traditional fashion and textiles history in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She is considered one of the first Saudi women to document the history of Saudi fashion, and has made distinguished scientific contributions in this field, making her a fundamental reference at the national and regional levels. She has contributed to authoring numerous specialized books and studies, most notably "Traditional Heritage of Women's Clothing in Najd" and "Traditional Fashion in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia".
Dr. Al-Bassam has received numerous awards and honors, most notably a National Cultural Award within the National Cultural Awards in its fourth session, a Royal Order Medal of the Third Class for Distinguished Individuals in the Field of National Heritage, and the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Prize for Distinguished Individuals in Studies and Research on the History of the Arabian Peninsula.
She has served as a consultant at the National Museum and the Advisory Board of the National Museum. She has also provided consultations to numerous entities in developing projects related to traditional fashion and textiles in Saudi Arabia.
