The Standing Committee for Scientific Research and Innovation oversees all matters related to scientific research and innovation at the University in accordance with the approved laws, regulations, and rules. Its responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the University's performance in advancing scientific research and innovation and directing these efforts toward addressing local and international societal issues.
- Recommending research-related rules and regulations to the Scientific Council.
- Approving research initiatives, studies, and innovations that align with the University's vision and strategic priorities.
- Considering matters referred to it by the Scientific Council or the University President.
- Undertaking any other duties or responsibilities specified in the executive rules.
