Department of Islamic Studies Organizes the Event “The Fragrance of Prophethood”

The Department of Islamic Studies at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, organized on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, an event titled “The Fragrance of Prophethood,” as part of the project for the course Prophetic Biography: Values and Conduct, held at the college theater. The event included a visual presentation and an exhibition inspired by the Prophetic biography, showcasing a series of scenes and enlightening Prophetic values through visual display methods that simulate the events of the Seerah and strengthen students’ connection to its noble values. The exhibition provided students with the opportunity to embody the concepts of the Prophetic biography in a creative manner that highlighted their understanding of the course’s academic content. The event targeted students and graduates and witnessed distinguished attendance and interaction, serving as a knowledge platform that reinforces Prophetic values and supports the applied learning approach emphasized by the college. This event forms part of the efforts of the Department of Islamic Studies to diversify methods of course delivery and transform theoretical knowledge into applied activities that contribute to consolidating values and developing students’ thinking and creativity skills, in line with the efforts of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences to help achieve the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025 through excellence in teaching and learning and the enrichment of the educational experience.
