On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the English Language Institute at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University and Cambridge University – Department of Publishing and Assessment – signed an executive program aimed at enhancing academic and professional collaboration in the fields of English language teaching, language skill development, capacity building, and the exchange of expertise between both parties. This program comes as part of the English Language Institute’s efforts to strengthen leading international partnerships that contribute to the development of academic and language programs, enhance the quality of education and training, and align with the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 in improving educational efficiency and enhancing the global competitiveness of academic outcomes. The program focuses on several key areas, including curriculum development, language assessment, teacher training, and collaborative research projects. It also offers training programs, accredited certifications, and opportunities to share academic knowledge and expertise. Moreover, the program aims to support the Institute’s efforts in achieving excellence in teaching and assessment, while opening new opportunities for developing accredited testing centers and applying the latest international standards in English language education. Representing the English Language Institute at the signing was Dr. Dania Al-Shalaan, the Institute’s Dean, while Ms. Natasha Arian, Cambridge’s Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, represented the University of Cambridge – Department of Publishing and Assessment. This collaboration reflects the English Language Institute at Princess Nourah University’s efforts to strengthen its position as a leading national institute in English language education, committed to the highest standards of quality and excellence.
