College of Computer and Information Sciences Launches a Series of Technical Courses in Collaboration with IBM

The College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in collaboration with IBM, has launched a series of technical training courses aimed at enhancing digital skills and boosting readiness for labor market demands. These courses will continue until October 10, 2025. The initiative focuses on empowering the college’s community—including faculty, administrative staff, and students—by providing exposure to the latest developments in fields such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, and other emerging technologies. This initiative includes a number of specialized Guided Learning Experience program in cybersecurity and generative AI, in addition to interactive practical Webinars that contribute to improving competence and enhancing the quality of education and research within the college. The Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Nourah University, Dr. Manal Al Ohali, stated: “This initiative represents a strategic step in the college’s efforts to support the professional development of its members. Developing technical skills is no longer optional; it is essential to keep pace with the digital transformation taking place in Saudi Arabia.” She also added: “The college will continue to pursue more high-impact partnerships with local and international leading organizations in the field of technology, to ensure the development of an innovative learning environment that meets future aspirations.” This initiative is part of the College’s contribution, through its Partnerships and Community Responsibility Unit, to achieving the strategic goals of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 plan. This includes providing an environment that fosters students’ skills in innovation, producing competitive graduates, and promoting essential skills, knowledge, and values.
