A Delegation from the AI Center Visits the Autism Excellence Center to explore opportunities for technological collaboration

A delegation from the Artificial Intelligence Center at the College of Computer and Information Sciences, at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, visited the Autism Center of Excellence on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. The visit aimed to explore avenues for joint collaboration on future projects that leverage advanced artificial intelligence technologies to serve individuals with autism spectrum disorder. The visit focused on discussing the potential for developing innovative technological solutions that support children with autism, particularly in enhancing behavioral therapy, skill development, and communication through AI tools and techniques. Dr. Manal Al-Ouhali, Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences, emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions to deliver technological solutions that serve the nation. She also highlighted the pivotal role of Saudi women in advancing educational programs that align with the needs of the job market in fields such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, contributing to the realization of Saudi Vision 2030. This visit is part of the AI Center’s ongoing efforts to employ artificial intelligence in serving priority community groups and providing sustainable solutions that enhance quality of life.
