At the beginning of the current academic year 1447 AH, the College of Sport Sciences and Physical Activity at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University introduced two new academic programs: Bachelor of Sport Management and Bachelor of Exercise Physiology. This step aims to enhance educational pathways, support labor-market readiness, and contribute to the development of the higher education system. The introduction of these programs comes as part of the college’s response to the rapid momentum witnessed in the sports sector in the Kingdom, and its keenness to prepare qualified national cadres capable of meeting labor-market demands in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The college has also adopted English as the language of instruction for all its academic programs, in an effort to better align learning outcomes with local and global market requirements and broaden graduates’ opportunities for regional and international competitiveness. As part of its academic development efforts and its commitment to enhancing educational quality and program outcomes, the college approved updating the title of the Sport Sciences and Physical Activity program to Sport Sciences and Training, based on a newly developed curriculum aligned with the latest global standards and best practices in the field of sports training.
