College Council Responsibilities:
Recommending the approval of the college's strategic plan and internal executive regulations.
Recommending the approval of proposed curricula, academic plans, books and reference materials proposed by the academic departments.
Approve the college's scientific research strategy and encourage, coordinate, and promote the publication of scientific research across academic departments.
Approve the college's overall quality assurance and academic accreditation plan.
Approve training and scholarship plans required for the college's faculty and staff.
Recommend the approval of examination schedules and establish the regulations and procedures governing their administration.
Approve the college's extracurricular activities plan.
Establish regulations governing student admission and transfer from or into the college.
Form permanent or temporary committees from among its members or others necessary and oversee their activities.
Decide on student matters falling within the council's authority and make recommendations to the University Council on matters beyond their jurisdiction.
Recommend the appointment, secondment, delegation, and promotion of faculty members, teaching assistants and lecturers.
Review matters referred to it by the University Council, its Chair, Vice Chair, or the Dean of the College, and provide recommendations thereon.

Advisory Council Responsibilities:
