About The Academic Program

Nature and Goals of the Program

It is a modern academic program in the field of visual arts that provides educational experiences in drawing, photography, sculpture, assemblage, printmaking, video, film, performance, historical and theoretical studies. The major refines artistic, technical and research skills. The program includes three tracks which are: painting, printmaking and sculpture.

Pencil, (Charcoal, and Pastel Painter)- Digital Artist- Comic Book Artist- Caricature Artist- Cartoon Artist- Illustrative Artist (Medical and Anatomical Illustrations, Educational, Industrial, etc.)- Portrait Artist- Landscape Painter (Acrylic, Oil, Watercolor)- Mural Artist

  4. 4. Working in various fields of visual arts in the community with high professionalism as independent artists.
  1. 1. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of visual arts in concepts, techniques, art history, and cultural and social context across eras.
  2. 2. Exhibit an advanced level of technical competence in the chosen field of the student, such as (painting, printmaking, sculpture).
  3. 3. Use critical thinking skills through the analysis and evaluation of artworks.
  4. 4. Develop creative solutions for traditional and non-traditional problems in the arts.
  5. 5. Work with professional responsibility through ethical commitment, effective time management, and self-learning.
  6. 6. Communicate effectively through oral presentations and writing to build professional relationships.

  2. 2. Comprehensive knowledge of concepts and techniques in the field of visual arts according to the specific specialization in the different program tracks.

  5. 5. Ability to be creative and solve problems in art projects, and demonstrate a unique artistic vision and personality.

  7. 7. Ability to communicate effectively using technological means, build professional relationships, and present, discuss, and analyze ideas in written and oral forms.
