Deanship Overview

The Deanship of Student Affairs is one of the Associate Deanships that supervise a range of departments and services supporting the educational process at the University. The Deanship of Student Affairs is the entity responsible for all student affairs, including full student-supervision during the course of their University studies. The Deanship takes care of them intellectually, psychologically, culturally and professionally. It is also responsible for creating a suitable and appropriate University environment for students in order to support talents. In addition, the Deanship develops students' scientific and practical expertise by nurturing those talents, developing their abilities, deepening their faith in Allah, promoting their patriotism, fostering a spirit of cooperation, filling the leisure time with fun and physical activities. This is done through providing a wide range of facilities on campus; thus, helping them to raise the level of their educational achievement in order to graduate with distinction. The Vice-Directorates and Departments of the Deanship activate and follow up their work to build a pioneer that serves and cares for the students of Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University and build future leaders.​

Main Tasks

  • all matters relating to students starting from the preparation of social and cultural activity plans, activating clubs and extracurricular participations, and following up their implementation.
  • student services to create an appropriate University environment.

  • high-quality housing for students, as well as taking care of their nutritional and physical well-being.
  • that students participate in field and scientific trips, and recommend local, regional and international participation.

  • specialized support for students with special needs, helping them overcome their difficulties, offering alternatives by providing devices and tools to enable them achieve their academic goals .
  • psychological, social, and academic counselling.​

  • managing ​​students’ behaviors and reducing the incidence of violations by activating the Disciplinary and Sanctions Committee according to the University’s rules and regulations.
  • spreading awareness among students to understand the rules and regulations of their rights and duties in booklets and flyers.​

  • students’ Fund Board agenda; its main goal is to support students.
