The Grants and Loans Unit:
It is the authority responsible for receiving applications for grants and loans for female students, and it also distributes computer devices to female students in need at the university.
General Terms and Conditions for Obtaining Loans and Grants from the Female Students Fund:
Providing loans and grants to students is one of the main objectives and purposes of the Female Students Fund, based on the regulations governing student funds in universities issued by the University Affairs Council Decision No. (1/13/1444H). According to Article (18) of these regulations, the disbursement of loans and grants from the fund is based on the following conditions:
The loan or grant application must be submitted using the designated form.
The student's situation will be evaluated, and coordination will occur with relevant departments at the university.
Applications will be presented to the board of directors for a decision on the amount of the grant or loan and the repayment duration.
The board chairman may approve the disbursement of an urgent amount not exceeding 1,000 SAR for grants and 2,000 SAR for loans. This decision must be presented to the board at the next meeting for awareness.
The loan must be repaid within the set time by deducting from the student’s monthly stipend, with no more than 25% deducted monthly (up to a maximum of 350 SAR).
The student borrower will not be released from the university until the full loan amount is repaid.
The board of directors may, based on the chairman’s recommendation, exempt the student from repaying the remaining loan in emergency cases as deemed by the board.
The loan, or the remaining amount, will be canceled in the event of the student's death.
Detailed Conditions for Fund Disbursement for the Loan and Grant Program:
The grant application can be made by any female student who is registered for the current semester.
The student should not have any disciplinary actions against her.
The grant application must be reviewed by the social worker in the student's college.
