The Noura Health Program Department at the Student Services Agency of the Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University received the team (Healthy Cities Program at the Ministry of Global Health) on Wednesday and Thursday, October 30-31, to renew the World Health Organization's accreditation of the health-promoting university on campus, and it is worth noting that Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is the first to obtain accreditation as a health-promoting university at the regional level. This accreditation aims at the healthy well-being of students and providing a healthy and sustainable learning environment, and the visit includes a set of initiatives that focus on improving the lifestyle of students, by providing green spaces, promoting physical activities, and providing healthy meals. In this context, the General Supervisor of the Healthy Cities Program, the Dean of Student Affairs and the Director of the Noura Health Program delivered their speech, considering students an essential axis in any society, so providing a healthy environment for them in universities contributes to enhancing public health and academic success for them, this initiative is an important step towards achieving comprehensive and sustainable health for students, and supporting their educational journey in a positive environment. The renewal of accreditation comes in line with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University's endeavors to promote a supportive university environment for health and well-being, establish an integrated community health system, and build a "healthy community", as it is an important axis in the university's strategic plan as a health-promoting university.​
