Launching the "My Fitness" Campaign.
The Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, represented by the Nourah Health Program, intends to launch the "My Fitness" Campaign, led by Dr. Leila Al-Kilani, Chair of the Physical Fitness Committee. This campaign aims to enhance health and sports awareness within the university community. It continues the role of the Physical Fitness Committee in providing educational health awareness services to university staff, highlighting the importance of actively contributing to addressing health challenges faced by the community, such as decreased physical fitness, low activity levels, and the resulting rise in obesity and other chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension.
The campaign will be implemented in collaboration with the "Hayatuna" Health Awareness Association, aiming to assess the fitness levels of participants and provide them with consultations, awareness, and health education, making it a model for promoting fitness in university environments.
The campaign will take place in several colleges: the College of Sports Science and Physical Activity, the College of Business Administration, the College of Languages and Translation, and the College of Sciences. It will kick off on Sunday, August 25, 2024, and continue until Thursday, September 19, 2024.
The campaign aligns with the university's strategic goal of fostering a healthy and supportive campus life that enhances health and well-being.
