Department of Scholarship, Training and Joint Supervision Program - About

Management Overview

The Department provides support and assistance to all University affiliates in pursuing academic degrees or enhanceing their academic, administrative, and technical skills through training aligned with the University’s needs. The Department also oversees the Joint Supervision Program, which is designed for PNU faculty members pursuing a PhD. Under this program, participants receive full financial support from the university, enabling eligible holders of master’s degrees in science, education, and teaching to continue their studies abroad and earn a PhD from internationally recognized universities. Participants spend two months each academic year at the partner university, while the program also promotes research collaboration and knowledge exchange between PNU faculty members and faculty at international universities.

Main Tasks

  • Receiving and referring scholarship students' requests through Safeer portal to the relevant colleges.
  • Reviewing requests and ensuring readiness for Committee consideration.
  • Overseeing scholarship students' affairs

  • Conducting orientation sessions for scholarship candidates.

  • Preparing statistical reports on the number of scholarship students, their study destinations, and fields of study.

  • Reviewing program applications and making recommendations.
  • Reviewing the requests received regarding the disbursement of allowances.
