Financial Guarantee procedures:

A- Scholarship candidates must consider the following:

First, it is imperative to ensure that the chosen educational institution is accredited by the Ministry of Education. This can be verified by accessing the Ministry of Education website and checking the list of recommended universities. This step prevents candidates from investing time, effort, and financial resources in correspondence with institutions that are not recommended by the Ministry and thus their application for such institutions will be rejected.

Secondly, A sufficient period should be given between the application date and the commencement of studies. This allows scholarship candidates sufficient time to complete all necessary procedures, receive the scholarship decision, and travel to their study destination with ample time for arrival and settlement procedures. The urgency to expedite travel and start studies may lead some candidates to select the earliest available study start date, which may only be a month or two away. However, this limited timeframe is insufficient to complete all required scholarship and travel procedures effectively.

C- How to obtain financial guarantee:

An email should be sent to the Scholarship Department by the university's Vice Rector for Postgraduate Studies, attaching a financial guarantee application form and a copy of the passport.

Scholarship procedures:

Upon receiving admission confirmation, it is essential to verify that the educational institution granting admission is accredited and recommended by the Ministry of Education. This is necessary because scholarships to some institutions may have been suspended during the admission search period.

If the institution is confirmed as recommended and all eligibility criteria are met, the scholarship application, along with the required forms and documents, must be submitted to the immediate superior. The request should specify presenting the scholarship matter to the relevant councils (Department Council and College Council) to seek approval for further scholarship procedures.

Once the minutes of the Permanent Scholarship and Training Committee are approved by the University Director, a final financial guarantee is requested to be submitted to the relevant embassy to obtain the visa.

Documents required to be attached to the scholarship application:

• A copy of the department council minutes.

• A copy of the University Council minutes

• A copy of the appointment decision.

• A recent copy of the family card.

• A copy of the ID card.

• A copy of the national ID of the accompanying person (if not the husband or parent)

• A copy of the job performance evaluation form for the last two years.

• Certified original pledges (Form 3 and 4).

  • A copy of the academic qualifications.
  • A copy of the admission granted by the university or the language institute.
