Definitions
Data: A set of facts in their raw or unorganized form, such as numbers, letters, static images, videos, audio recordings, or symbols.
Data Access: The ability to logically and physically access data and the technical resources of an entity for the purpose of using them.
Level of Data Access: The level that depends on the permissions and authorities that restrict access to data and technical resources to authorized persons according to what is required to perform their assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Authentication: Verifying the identity of any user, process, or device as a fundamental requirement for granting access to technical resources.
Authorization: Defining the rights and permissions of access to data and technical resources for any user, program, or process, and controlling their access levels.
Data subject: The natural person to whom the personal data relates, or their representative or legal guardian.
Personal data: Any information - regardless of its source or form - that can lead to the identification of an individual, either directly or indirectly when combined with other data. This includes, but is not limited to, names, personal identification numbers, addresses, contact information, bank account and credit card numbers, static or dynamic user images, and other personally identifying information.
Sensitive personal data: Any personal data that reveals the individual's racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, or membership in civil society organizations. This also includes criminal and security data, biometric data that can identify an individual, genetic data, financial and credit data, health data, location data, data related to the individual's family, and data indicating that the individual is of unknown parentage or one of their parents is unknown.
Processing of personal data: All operations carried out on personal data by any means, whether manual or automated. These operations include, but are not limited to, the collection, transfer, and storage of data.
Data Confidentiality: Maintaining the authorized restrictions on access to or disclosure of data.
Protected Data: Data classified as (Top Secret, Secret, Restricted).
Public Information: Unprotected data that is received, produced, or handled by public entities, regardless of its source, form, or nature.
Open Data: A specific set of public information - machine-readable - that is freely available to the public and can be used or shared by any individual or public or private entity.
Sensitive Data: Data whose loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or alteration would cause serious harm or negative impact on national interests, government agency activities, or individual privacy and rights.
