National Challenges Program
Introduction:
The national priorities for research, development, and innovation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia serve as a strategic guide for directing efforts and shaping future projects in such areas. These priorities are designed to address the nation's developmental needs through scientific and research-driven outcomes. In this context, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is committed to finding solutions to the challenges facing sustainable national development across various sectors by fostering research collaborations between the university's researchers and both governmental and private entities.
The program aims to localize research and align it with national stakeholders to deliver solutions to critical challenges. It also seeks to support the Kingdom's economic diversification by promoting research, development, and innovation initiatives that make a significant impact. These initiatives align with the national vision for research and innovation, focusing on the following priority areas: human health, environmental sustainability and basic needs, leadership in energy and industry, and future economies.
