Deanship Overview

In 2024, the university underwent a comprehensive restructuring. As part of this, the Deanship of Library Affairs and the Deanship of Scientific Research were merged, creating two new vice deanships - the Vice Deanship of Library Affairs and the Vice Deanship of Scientific Research. The Vice Deanship of Library Affairs is focused on supporting the university's educational and research activities, as well as promoting culture and knowledge sharing within the community. It aims to provide an interactive, high-quality knowledge environment that meets the information needs of users, by offering the best services and utilizing the latest technologies. The goal is to help the university achieve excellence locally, regionally, and globally. Meanwhile, the Vice Deanship of Scientific Research is dedicated to fulfilling the requirements of the university's research endeavors. It is making concerted efforts to address the major challenges involved in advancing the scientific research agenda at the institution.

As they serve as gateways to understanding the universe, humanity, and life, while also fostering the well-being of individuals and society. Therefore, a nation's progress is reflected in its commitment to preserving its heritage and promoting continuous learning. The deanship is dedicated to creating a distinguished research environment, supported by diverse library services and information resources. Our goal is to enhance the quality of published research, thereby elevating the university's position both locally and internationally. I encourage all members, students, and visitors of our university to actively engage in our initiatives and utilize the educational resources available, as it is through your efforts that we will shape the future.
