Deanship Overview

The University’s comprehensive organizational structure was approved on 24/04/1445 AH. Accordingly, the Deanship of Library Affairs was merged with the Deanship of Scientific Research to comprise the Vice Deanship for Library Affairs and the Vice Deanship for Scientific Research. The Vice Deanship for Library Affairs seeks to support the educational and research processes and promote culture and knowledge within the community by providing an interactive knowledge environment equipped to meet information needs through high-quality services and the latest technologies, thereby contributing to Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s vision of achieving excellence locally, regionally, and globally. The Deanship of Scientific Research and Libraries is also committed to meeting the requirements of scientific research and makes continuous efforts to address the significant challenges involved in advancing scientific research at the University.

Dean's Word

In alignment with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, we aim to advance scientific research and libraries as essential pillars for national development. As they serve as gateways to understanding the universe, humanity, and life, while also fostering the well-being of individuals and society. Therefore, a nation's progress is reflected in its commitment to preserving its heritage and promoting continuous learning. The deanship is dedicated to creating a distinguished research environment, supported by diverse library services and information resources. Our goal is to enhance the quality of published research, thereby elevating the university's position both locally and internationally. I encourage all members, students, and visitors of our university to actively engage in our initiatives and utilize the educational resources available, as it is through your efforts that we will shape the future.
