This course allows students to perform important experiments that illustrate : The basics about radioisotopes and their effects. Safe Nuclear experiments include introduction on radiation, Characteristics of Geiger-Mueller counter, Dose Rate of Beta particles and Gamma radiation, Absorption of Gamma Radiation and Beta particles. Interaction of gamma rays with matter and inverse square law in radiation.
