نبذة عن عضو هيئة التدريس
تخرجت من كلية الطب بجامعة الشارقة .
إلتحقت بجامعة الأميرة نورة بنت عبد الرحمن منذ عام 2014م. تشغل منصب عضو هيئة تدريس في قسم طب النساء والولادة .
أنهت درجة الماجستير في علوم التكاثر والنمو من جامعة كولومبيا البريطانية (كندا) مع بحث حول جين HOXB4 في بطانة الرحم المهاجرة.
أكملت تدريب البورد الكندي في تخصص النساء والولادة بجامعة مانيتوبا.
حاليا تكمل الزمالة في طب الأم والجنين بجامعة كولومبيا البريطانية في كندا.
قادت عدة مشاريع مبتكرة في التعليم الطبي، تدمج المحاكاة والتدريب متعدد التخصصات لتحسين تعليم طب النساء والولادة. طورت مشروع محاكاة "ماما نورة" كأداة منخفضة التكلفة لتدريب الطلاب على الإجراءات التوليدية، وأثبتت فعاليتها مقارنة بالنماذج عالية الكفاءة.
تعمل حالياً على مبادرات تعليمية لتفعيل مشاركة الطالبات، وتعزيز المهارات الإكلينيكية باستخدام المحاكاة والسياقات التعليمية المدعومة بالتقنية.
Graduated from the College of Medicine at the University of Sharjah, Dr. Al‑Kusayer has served as a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University since 2014. She earned a Master’s degree in Reproductive and Developmental Sciences from the University of British Columbia (Canada), where her research explored HOXB4 gene expression in endometriosis. She completed her Canadian board training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Manitoba and is currently undertaking a fellowship in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine at the University of British Columbia.
In the field of medical education, she has led several innovative projects integrating simulation and multidisciplinary training. Notably, the low-cost “Mama Nourah” simulation initiative has been used to train students in obstetrical procedures and has demonstrated effectiveness compared to high-fidelity models.
She is presently focused on educational initiatives aimed at enhancing active student participation and clinical skill development through simulation, contextual teaching methods, and technology-supported learning within the medical curriculum.
