Master of Science in Nursing - Advanced Nursing Practice Track: Adult Critical Care Nursing

The first nursing program in the specialty that meets the local and global trends and targets in accordance with Vision 2030. The program aims to prepare qualified nursing cadres in the field of cardiovascular care (track 1) - critical care (track 2) where the student can choose the track upon application. The program will contribute to graduating highly qualified nurses who are able to compete in the field of cardiovascular care and critical care nursing in order to achieve the goals of the National Transformation Program in support of Vision 2030

• Preparing qualified Saudi female nurse practitioners who can work in complex healthcare settings. • Preparing competent nurses in the field of cardiac care / critical care who can provide evidence-based, multidisciplinary, and holistic care. • Nurses providing evidence-based, multidisciplinary, and holistic care • Providing professional, ethical, and culturally sensitive nursing care • Nurses providing professional, ethical, and culturally sensitive nursing care • Conducting clinical research in cardiac / critical care

  1. 1- Prepare qualified Saudi nurse practitioners who can work in diverse and complex healthcare settings.
  2. 2- Prepare competent cardiovascular/critical care nurses who can provide comprehensive and multidisciplinary evidence-based care
  3. 3- Prepare competent nurses who can provide professional, ethical and culturally sensitive nursing care in the specialty of Cardiovascular/Critical Care.

  3. K2 Recognize trends and issues that affect the provision of nursing care for critically ill patients.

  6. S2 Utilize technologies and informatics to support critically ill patients care.
  7. S3 Apply advanced nursing research, guidelines, and evidence-based practices.
  8. S4 Demonstrate critical evaluation and provide innovative solutions to care for critically ill patients' and their families

  10. V1 Initiate professional planning for learning and/or work, and professional development in critical care specialty.
