Student Services Department

  • Supervising student club activities, events, competitions, and theater at the college in coordination with the Deanship of Student Affairs.  
  • Providing supporting services, including financial aid, housing, transportation, and catering.  
  • Offering comprehensive student support, such as psychological and social counseling and services for students with disabilities.   
  • Providing services for graduates and maintaining positive relationships with the college in coordination with the University's Alumni Affairs Department. 
  • Providing skill development and career guidance for students and graduates in collaboration with the Career Counseling Center.   
  • Organizing and supervising social activities such as visits and trips.

The Academic Advising Unit at the College of Law oversees the planning, coordination, and implementation of academic advising. Its organizational structure includes the Head of the Unit, faculty advisors, and the Academic Advising Office, collaborating with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Deanship of Admissions and Registration. 

The unit provides advising services to help students track their progress, motivate them, and assist those facing challenges. It offers tailored advisory services based on various academic situations (such as regular students, withdrawals, dropped semesters, dropouts, exceptional opportunities, Denials, transfers, etc.), encouraging excellence and creativity while also addressing students' psychological issues.

Center Services

  • Facilitating communication between faculty members and the Deanship of Scientific Research at the university.
  • Conducting workshops and training courses.
  • Providing research consultations for researchers.
  • Following up on the implementation of research funding programs for small and medium-sized projects for faculty members and studying them, which is done by fulfilling the following requirements: 
  •  Filling out a research project funding request form.
  • Passing the form's plagiarism check.
  • Obtaining approval from the Ethics Committee.
  • Filling out an intellectual property ownership declaration form.
  • Filling out a researcher's pledge form.
  • Following up on the implementation of research groups.
  • Obtaining approval from the Scientific Research Ethics Committee.

Community service at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University is a fundamental part of the university's strategy, contributing to the promotion of social responsibility and a culture of volunteerism among students. Within the framework of the College of Law's activation of one of its goals, namely "A leading legal and knowledge-based societal impact," the Department of Partnerships and Social Responsibility in the field of community service aims to:

  1. Voluntary Activities: A range of voluntary activities and events are held throughout the year, such as awareness campaigns, cultural initiatives, and workshops, which contribute to strengthening social responsibility skills among students.
  2. Preparing Future Leaders: Through engaging in community service, students are able to acquire experiences that prepare them to face the challenges of the future and contribute positively to their society in general.
  3.  Enhancing the Educational Experience: Community service at the College of Law enhances the students' educational experience and makes them more aware and concerned about the society in which they live, which contributes to the formation of a generation of responsible leaders who are involved in the issues of their society.
  4. Creating Volunteering Opportunities: Creating volunteering opportunities for students through communication with external entities.
  5. Achieving, Establishing, and Documenting the Concept of Volunteering: Achieving the concept of volunteering, establishing it, and documenting it through activating the National Platform for Volunteer Work.
  6. Participating in Global and Local Events: The College of Law's participation in celebrating global and local events as part of social responsibility.
  7. Strengthening the Relationship with Professional Institutions: Strengthening the relationship between the College of Law and various professional institutions and participating in their activities and events.
  8. Voluntary Initiatives for College of Law Members: Carrying out voluntary initiatives for the College of Law affiliates, including faculty, administrative staff, and students.
  9. Establishing a Specialized National Team: Establishing a specialized national team aimed at investing and activating the energies of the College of Law affiliates and directing them to outputs in accordance with a clear vision, methodology, and professionalism to reach the national target (one million volunteers).​
