The Law College Dean's List

The "Law College Dean's List" is an honorary recognition established to celebrate students who demonstrate exceptional academic and behavioral excellence. It honors those who contribute effectively to legal, research, and community-based activities.   • Recognition of Excellence: Inclusion in the Dean's List is a prestigious academic honor officially recorded in the College's archives and announced on the official website and honor boards.
  • Official Certification: Recipients receive a "Dean's List Certificate" personally signed by the Dean.
  • Priority Opportunities: Awardees receive priority for internal and external nominations, including conferences, workshops, international trips, and summer internships, as well as representing the College in university and community forums.

II. General Eligibility Criteria

  • A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.50 out of 5.00.
  • Completion of at least four academic semesters at the College of Law.
  • Continuous full-time enrollment during the nomination academic year.
  • A clear disciplinary record, with no prior academic warnings or disciplinary sanctions throughout the period of study.
  • No records of failing (F) or denial (DN) in any course.

III. Nomination Process

  1. Announcement: The call for nominations is announced via university email and the official website during the second semester of each academic year, detailing the list's criteria and process.
  2. Application: Candidates must submit an electronic application through the provided registration link within the specified period, ensuring all required documents are attached.
  3. Review: The Selection and Nomination Committee reviews all applications to ensure eligibility.
  4. Selection: Candidates are ranked and selected based on the approved competitive criteria (published with the announcement).
  5. Approval: The Committee submits its recommendations to the Dean for the final approval of the list.
  6. Notification: Once approved, the final list is announced, and students are notified via their university email. Success stories of the awardees will be featured on the College's official website.
