Signing of a Cooperation Memorandum between Princess Nourah University and the Ministry of Sport to Enhance the Field of Sports Law

Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, represented by the College of Law, and the Ministry of Sport, represented by the General Department of Legal Affairs, signed a cooperation memorandum in the field of sports law. The memorandum aims to strengthen joint cooperation in implementing training programs and benefiting from services in research, thought leadership, and leadership development, within the framework of both parties’ efforts to contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in the sports sector. The areas of cooperation outlined in the memorandum include enhancing scientific research through activating joint research initiatives on topics of mutual interest, cooperative training for female students of the College of Law, the exchange of expertise, as well as organizing training courses and scientific seminars. Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University was represented at the signing by the Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Abeer Al-Eissa, while the Ministry of Sport was represented by the Director General of the General Department of Legal Affairs, Mr. Abdullah Al-Muzaiil. Dr. Abeer Al-Eissa stated that “this memorandum represents a pioneering step toward empowering women in the sports sector and expanding the role of law in supporting Saudi Vision 2030, contributing to the development of qualified female legal professionals capable of supporting the sports ecosystem and achieving the Vision’s objectives.” The signing of the memorandum aligns with the shared goals of both parties to provide competitive education and graduate qualified national legal professionals who contribute to building a knowledge-based economy and meet the needs of the sports legal labor market.
