Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Diaverum Kidney Care Group

On Wednesday, 3 Jumada I 1440 AH, corresponding to 09 November 2019 AD, PNU, represented by the Vice-Rectorate for Health Affairs, signed a memorandum of understanding with Diaverum Kidney Care Group, with the aim of enhancement of cooperation and exchanging academic, training and research experiences. The agreement was signed at the PNU's Headquarters by the University's Vice-Rector for Health Affairs, Dr. Ghadah bint Abdulaziz bin Saif, and Deputy Medical Director of Diaverum Kidney Care Group, Dr. Dujana Hassan Musa.

 

Dr. Ghadah bint Saif explained the importance of cooperation between academic and health institutions to develop training programs for all health specialties related to kidney disease, which targets health colleges students at the university. Bint Saif pointed out that this memorandum focuses on engagement of students in joint research projects that serve the objectives of both entities and achieve the university's mission to commit to quality and professionalism to serve kidney patients and various specializations.

 

For her part, Dr. Dujana bint Musa confirmed that integration between the academic and training areas is considered one of the most important components of achieving the quality level in the training for qualification of the national cadres of health practitioners to provide high level of service for beneficiaries in the community. She also added that kidney care in the Kingdom is one of the best levels of healthcare in the world.

 

This joint collaboration seeks to provide medical care to patients with chronic kidney diseases in accordance with the highest global standards, and to benefit from the outstanding and successful global expertise to train PNU students and develop their skills to contribute to building the knowledge economy and achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
