Enrollment in Diploma Program for the Second Semester:
The Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers announced the opening of registration for the paid diploma program for the second semester starting Sunday, November 10. This program aims to teach Arabic as a second language.
Haraf Competition:
On Thursday, November 14, the institute participated in the accompanying exhibition of the Haraf competition, organized by the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language in its second edition. Student Khadija Jallo won second place for her research paper in the field of 'Language and Technology.' Student Asmaa Jallo also won second place in the research paper category. Additionally, student Thania Yayour achieved third place in the 'Language and Cultural Communication' category.
International Students' Day:
On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, the institute's Student Services, represented by the Club of Cultures and Nations, participated in the International Students' Day event 'Downtown Noura.' This unique cultural experience allowed visitors to explore the traditions and cultures of various countries through heritage displays, music, and traditional clothing from each nation.
Inspiring Entrepreneurship Forum:
On the same day, November 19, 2024, the institute, represented by the Research and Innovation Agency, participated in the Inspiring Entrepreneurship Forum. The institute's booth showcased a start-up project created by the institute's students.
World Quality Day:
On Sunday, November 24, 2024, the institute, represented by the Education and Learning Quality Department, organized the World Quality Day event in the institute's main hall.
“Success Without Stress" Campaign:
From Sunday to Thursday, the institute's Psychological and Social Counseling Unit conducted the 'Success Without Stress' campaign at the A4 Student Center. The week-long campaign aimed to inspire and spread positivity among students.
Scientific Posters Exhibition:
On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, the institute's Language Preparation Department held a scientific poster exhibition for fourth-level students as part of the requirements for the academic writing course.
Arabic Coffee Workshop:
In conjunction with International Students' Day, the institute held an Arabic coffee workshop on Tuesday, November 27, 2024, to introduce international students to Saudi hospitality and cultural traditions.
World Cultures Exhibition:
On Thursday, November 27, 2024, the institute hosted a 'World Cultures' exhibition showcasing student projects for the Language Skills course. The event featured presentations on the history, clothing, jewelry, currencies, food, and beverages of various cultures. It aimed to introduce international students to one another's cultures and enhance their teamwork skills.
Revelation Exhibition:
On Thursday, November 27, 2024, the institute organized a 'Revelation Exhibition' as part of the Qur'anic Studies 1 course project. The exhibition aimed to introduce international students to verses related to revelation and the evidence of Qur'anic miracles.
Lecture: 'I Was Once an International Student':
In celebration of International Students' Day, the Club of Cultures and Nations held a dialogue session titled 'I Was Once an International Student' on November 25, 2025. The session provided advice to language learners, discussed the challenges of learning a new language, and addressed students' questions.
